The Huawei eKitEngine AP160 Wireless Access Point is a modern Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point designed for high-performance wireless coverage in compact environments such as hotels, offices, apartments, and commercial spaces. Its wall plate design allows easy installation in standard 86×86 mm junction boxes, making it ideal for room-based deployments and structured cabling environments.
Equipped with dual-band 2×2 MIMO radios, the AP160 operates simultaneously on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, delivering a combined wireless throughput of up to 1.775 Gbps. This ensures fast, stable connectivity for applications such as HD streaming, VoIP, video conferencing, and cloud-based services.
The device is optimized for high-density environments, supporting up to 128 concurrent users (recommended ~48 users), making it suitable for hotel rooms, classrooms, and office spaces. Its smart antenna system dynamically adjusts signal strength and direction to maintain optimal coverage and reduce interference, improving overall wireless performance.
The AP160 includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports:
