The Grandstream HA100 High-Availability Controller is a professional-grade failover solution designed to ensure continuous operation of your UCM6510 IP PBX. With smart failover technology, the HA100 instantly transfers all system control from the primary to the secondary UCM6510 when the main unit becomes unresponsive. The switching process completes in just 10–50 seconds, depending on the number of registered SIP endpoints, minimizing disruptions for your users.
To streamline operations, the HA100 uses Gratuitous ARP, automatically refreshing the MAC addresses of SIP endpoints on the network, eliminating manual intervention or service downtime. It maintains full redundancy by mirroring all connected analog lines (FXO/FXS), T1/E1/J1 telecom links, and WAN/LAN connections from the primary to the secondary PBX unit.
The HA100 features real-time monitoring with 14 front-panel LEDs, providing instant visual feedback of all analog lines, SIP endpoints, and network status. It communicates via RS-485 serial links to constantly monitor the “heartbeat” and operational health of both UCM6510 units.
